The welcome when we arrived was warm; like that of a mother welcoming her kids home. Showed us to our room and offered breakfast. Their rooms are kitted with a nice kitchen with cookies 😁

The scenery and location were wonderful. There are a few restaurants in the village to go out and try. Everybody was friendly and greeted each other... there's a very happy vibe around town.
Kaapsehoop is a village on the Drakensberg Highveld escarpment, about 28 kms from Nelspruit. One of its claims to fame is the fact that wild horses roam freely around the village streets. Green Venus is situated in the heart of this small village and within walking distance of everything. The lady who runs this B&B is very helpful and able to tell you about the possible activities. The breakfast was excellent and we had nothing to complain about. If we ever visit Kaapsehoop again, we would definitely choose "Green Venus"!
firstly the location is great on the edge of the forest and plateau in Kaapsehoop, central but also a nice walk to get anywhere in the 'village, these are things we've always liked about Silver Mist, rooms are fairly spacious and bathroom is also fair sized
