It was well located and the authenticity of the high ceiling and scenic windows onto the street connected us to the feeling of village life. The place was luxurious is size; cozy living room and refreshing courtyard to escape the summer midday heat. Time stood still and life was filled with charm.

The self catering unit we had at Country Village was spotlessly clean, and looked fresh and crisp. After a long trip it was a very refreshing place to walk into. Kitchen area was well equipped. No need here to worry about load-shedding as unit was equipped with a gas cooker and rechargeable LED lamps. Excellent value for money. Our host, Natasha was impressively hands-on and efficient!
Old heritage house beautifully restored and set up with everything one needs, including some back up lights and a two ring gas cooker for load shedding. The private patio and enclosed yard was very helpful for us having two dogs. The pool would be wonderful in hot weather. Overall a well thought out holiday home in which one could easily spend longer than one night. Within walking distance of eateries and interesting shops
The breakfast was good, home made in a nice cozy ambience. The rooms were good, there was a heater to warm up the room, as we stayed during winter. Very friendly staff. cute friendly little dogs, which our kids enjoyed playing with. it is safe to walk around in the village at night, so we walked to the nice restaurant nearby. Good parking too. We will definitely come back again, thanks for making our visit so nice.
Graff Reinet was disappointing, it was not the charming historical village I expected, dirty and potholes, very down at heel. Drosty Hotel was an exception, very impressive
This was our second stay at Country Village and again it really was a "home from home" experience. Our breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and the staff very helpful.
