I had the most lovely stay here at Garden Villa! The views of the mountains and river were gorgeous. It has beautiful, peaceful vibes. The rooms were big and nice. Great AC! Breakfast is very yummy. Staff were so friendly! Also very helpful, kind and gracious, going above and beyond. I was even invited to spend some time with the family which was so special and I'll never forget it. I would love to return someday. 10/10 would come back!
This place is a hidden gem for sure. The views are incredible and the atmosphere is so peaceful. It’s a great place to go to escape after the busy Hanoi. We want to give special recognition to Tung/Cady for his kindness and the amazing hike he took us on. The Ecolodge organised a private full day hike to local villages through rice terraces and we got lunch provided by a local family. We felt extremely welcome here and would definitely recommend this place.
I stayed at donkey hostel about a week. The staff was super nice, the breakfast is amazing. I specially loved the plating haha! On my last day the owner took me on a day trip around Ha Giang to some villages on the mountains. It was amazing. This hostel is smaller than many others so you have more a home feeling, it's more quiet and you can do the loop with them in a smaller group..also the price of their tour is more reasonable than in other places. I wished I had done the tour with them as well.
Unique setting on the edge of an authentic village overlooking beautiful mountains. The village is still authentic, not overrun by large groups of partying foreign kids on motorcycles.
The host family was very welcoming and we were made to feel part of the family.
The rooms were small but comfortable and with a nice design.
The bathroom is basic but functional. The overall experience is wonderful, being part of village life waking up to the sounds of the animals in the village waking up early in the morning
