the host upgrade our room free of charge and he arrange our rooms near each other. he is friendly and helpful, suggested us some place to visit and advise us where should and should not go. There is free bicycle for guests to cycle around the area. The nearest market is about 3KM from the homestay but they will close around 10:00am we went there at 11:00 and there is nothing in the market

We were looking for a non-touristy experience. We found ourselves among canals and mangroves, palm roofs, and fireflies. We immediately asked the owners, who were extraordinarily kind, if we could stay one more night. We used the canoes to explore the canals up to the river and the bicycles to visit the market (which is an authentic, local one).

I suffered a heatstroke or a virus or both when there and they looked after me very well. The mother is a retired nurse and they are both kind.

A fantastic remote place in a wonderful tranquil garden, with fishes, geckos, mice, a cat and a huge variety of plants, just wonderful! Also has a public terrace where you can overlook the tree tops.
If you're coming from HCMC arrange that the owner calls you a taxi (should be around 35-40k), otherwise you'll stay at the roundabout forever. There are no grabs available.
We had original booked a hut, but then noticed it's not a fully closed room and therefore doesn't have an AC, so we switched to one of the bungalow styled rooms. These are spacious, of course quite basic and as you would expect you've to share it with some insects - but then again, it's amidst the jungle.
If you plan to eat outside you will have to find a way to get to Ben Tre, which btw isn't a town you wanna visit. There's basically nothing on the main road. You can easily dine at the homestay and choose between a few options. We had Tofu in tomato sauce which was really delicate. The prices might seem a little higher than on regular smaller restaurants. Breakfast is basic but also offers some variation.
The absolute highlight is the family's magnificent friendliness, they're soo helpful, talkative and care about every aspect of your stay. We did the boat tour in a quite private setting for 500k, but then including all transport to the pier and back, which is convenient! He also helped us with booking bus tickets back to HCMC and paid everything in advance. You can pay by visa card for a small fee, also extremely convenient as there are no ATMs around. If you wanna drive around on yourself, there are free bikes and scooters for rent.
So after all, a fantastic choice if you plan to step back from the hassle in the city and enjoy a calm time in the jungle.

Thuan was incredibly nice to my friends and I. He offered us delicious complimentary coconuts and gave us a tour of his village by bike. The location is really nice and authentic, my friends and I had a wonderful time !
The family of La Villa De CoCo Ben Tre are wonderful. Everyone here is so lovely and made us feel like we were right at home. They helped with our transport to and from the airport, and no question or request was too much.
The rooms were perfect, and the villa was quiet enough that we had the pool to ourselves most of the time.
It was great to take a few days to relax here in the Mekong Delta, after a busy couple of weeks travelling the rest of Vietnam.
Honestly, we cannot recommend this accommodation enough.
Beautifully kept villa away from the crowds. The staff were superb assisting in tours and our journey home. The set menu in the evening is a must. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a short stay in the countryside.
The Host is super helpful, the guidance how to get to the place was clear and easy. It’s not far from the city, but you can feel you’re in the village and feel the local nature.

The villa is a very tranquil place. One can rest and chill over the pool, or get bikes/scooters and go on an adventure.
The host was more than helpful, she is a great guide and was able to organize additional trip for us.
Our spot was a lovely clean spacious villa in a rural setting. Ms Thu is a delightful host and we took their firefly tour and dinner which were both fantastic. Free bikes and some super cycling on the island of the homestay. Strongly recommended!!
