We had an amazing stay at Nyumbani residence with my husband and kids. The place is a perfect gate away for families as the apartments are full catered with all you need. Breakfast is really yummy and it’s served every morning at your terrace. Location for us was great as it’s only 5 minutes away from the beach and the local shops. My partner and I spent almost 3 weeks in Zanzibar in January 2022. We have stayed at 4 different areas of the island, in 5 different hotels, Jambiani Villa being the second one, for 4 nights. Jambiani itself is a quiet fishing village with only a few hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Right after we booked this accommodation we knew we made the right choice just by the way the hotel communicated with us. Prior our arrival we received the most detailed information about the Villas and the village, and received valuable tips and hits for traveling to Zanzibar in general. The Jambiani Villas are located in 3 properties. We stayed in the main building, called Katikati, in one of the apartments (Iliki) on the top floor, facing the outdoor pool and the ocean. Even though it was right above the restaurant, neither the smell, nor the noise (if there was any) could be felt or heard in our room. Our apartment had a very spacious and clean room with comfortable king size bed, air-conditioning, desk, sofa, TV, etc., spacious and really nice bath, a full kitchen with fridge and a large balcony. Finding European plugs in the room were a nice surprise. :) Wifi always worked perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast is wonderful. I loved the fresh guacamole and the home made jam! At the beginning I was a little worried that having a restaurant onsite is going to be busy and noise, but not at all. It was actually very quiet, and it came handy that we could have lunch and/or dinner on site whenever we wanted to. The outdoor area is small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The extremely kind, warm and helpful staff, along with the amazing efficient and professional management team made our stay really memorable. Reopened after a 2 year rebuild and renovation due to a tragic fire. The staff was amazing! Such a warm, welcoming, and lovely bunch that really take the time to provide personalized service! The pool is nice and refreshing as well as super clean with bar service throughout the day. Location is good with beachfront access even during high tide. Unique room options even with apartments so great for group of friends or family with kids. AC is cold and fans are in all rooms along with mosquito nets (though you won't need them). High value to cost ratio! I stayed here after staying nearby and was so glad I moved. Highly recommend!

The apartments was super fresh, new and spacious. The outside pool area is also nice and comfy. The facilities are new and bare in mind not everything is in place but we had a nice stay. Arjan was helpful with everything and showed us what to do in the nearby areas and places to visit. With it being Africa, there was a power cut when we arrived and we had no electricity, however, Arjan solved it perfectly for us with alternatives and we had a nice stay. Would recommend the place for both longer and shorter stays :)

Nice new place in Jambiani. Very close to the beach - you're there in two minutes. Very quiet and tranquil, and Said - the host - is amazing. He is very attentive to detail and is one of the best hosts I've ever met. The room is very spacious and clean, and the bed has great mosquito nets. Breakfast is abundant, and DO TRY THE RESTAURANT! I cannot stress this enough. If I could, I would rate it more than 10.
