To start, the room was cozy and spacious and it looked better than the pictures. Breakfast spread was delicious and I loved the omelets. The location was 2 minutes away from the heart of Bolu and there are many amazing cafes, restaurants, and shops around the area. As the hotel was family-run, it always had a warm friendly feeling and they would give lovely recommendations of things to do and show me the location of the bus station. What made the experience amazing was the hospitality of the hosts - I was traveling alone and I soon realized that buses to the famous lakes nearby weren't running frequently (likely because of the season), they offered to drive me there for a very good price. I also enjoyed the conversations with the many aunties in the hotel, and appreciate them for tolerating my (terrible) turkish. :)

The house, the furniture, the styling and the whole vibe of the place was relaxing and energizing as well, perfect for a forest nature stay. The gated fence around the 4 houses made me feel secure as my 2 year old toddler played in the playground on his own (he loved it).
