Mr Hey and Wan Pen were absolutely delightful hosts and we loved getting to know them over the 2 days we stayed. The food was brilliant. The fish was especially good, order in advance. The pancakes were also amazing. Slept super well and awoke to a lovely bird song. Lots of nice walks in the area and Mae Kamin waterfall was a brilliant excursion.

Location is perfect, Jay?, the young manager of the place did his best to make us feel welcome there (he cooked a really good breakfast, even one in vegan, he recommended a really nice driver to the Erawan falls and the Hwuai mae Khamin Waterfalls. The swimming in the river, the wildlife around us (Kingfisher Birds, swimming Lizards and others) and the free to use boat. We really enjoyed our time there and could have stayed longer.
Was in villa with hot springs, we liked terrace with view of river and hot springs was very relaxing. The old train and Australian memorial was interesting to know about history of II war
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed in a River View Onsen Villa and it was 100% worth the extra money as the view was completely breathtaking, especially at sunset.
Overall in the resort the staff were friendly, facilities are good and well kept, food is nice.
The setting is incredible. It is VERY remote, off a dirt road and on the River Kwai. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The “glamping” style villas are so tastefully done and comfortable. They all sit on the hill overlooking the river and nature below. The food was great, and the pool was beautiful.
Amazing place where you can enjoy the nature, the peaceful of a small village and the amazing food home made by the girls of the house.
everything was just perfect!
the place is 10 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the waterfall, our room was really nice, big, comfortable and clean.
we ate at their restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was delicious and also cheap!
really recommend!
Remote location.
Long-tail boat ride up river wà enjoyable.
Rooms were basic, but comfortable.
Floating down river was fun.
Nice hike to Mon village.
Food was pretty good.
Hammock and comfortable loungers.
Almost no mosquitoes while stargazing.
- Luxurious Villa in the middle of the jungle
- Beautiful scenery
- Very nice and helpful staff: I got an accident before arrival and could hardly walk. I requested a villa close to the pool and restaurant and the gave me the closest one 🥰
- Great quality for the price
- Nice massage (service within the resort)
- Even more beautiful than the pictures
- Lots of colourful butterflies and birds
- Very quiet and dark at night, with good black out curtains (l'm a bad sleeper, but here it was no problem at all)
All in all: Loved it ❤️
- the onsen villas with river view were superb, nothing beat soaking in your private onsen in the morning watching over the river and listening to the jungle sounds
- the main onsen / pool area was always quiet and it almost felt like we had it to ourselves
- very prompt room service
- the resort overall is very picturesque
- if you really want to feel disconnected from the world, this place is it
This was my 3rd visit over 25 years. Glad to see the hotel, staff and experience haven't changed. We rate this experience as exceptional, a cultural insight to the Mon villagers whom came from Burma.
Only wish we had stayed a second night.
