There are 2 pools.. one for the villas (on the first photo) one for the others. The 2nd swimming pool is always on shade so the water was cold and it could be a bit cleaned. Breakfast was very good ! The room was clean and nice

If you are traveling with elderly with wheelchair and looking for some affordable place to stay, this is the one. SUITABLE FOR THE THAI.
Naga Tara was the best hotel experience we had on our journey through Northern Thailand. We spent two nights in the villa. The location and garden right on the shore of the lake is just lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner seems to look after the resort very well. The staff is exceptionally friendly. We had a wonderful breakfast. I travel a lot and never write recommendations, but this time I really wanted to.
Beautiful place loved the lake and watching the sunset. Really helpful and attentive staff. We were in the lake view villa which is lovely. Good bed and spacious room. Really good breakfast.
We booked a room with pool view but there as not pool view in our room. This also meant we were unable to access the lovely big pool that the pool villa`s had. There were monks staying 2 rooms down and they were very noisy, getting drunk etc, throwing up in the morning. The walls are paper thin and we heard everything. Breakfast was good and so was wifi but everything else was pretty bad. I would not stay again.
Amazing to find such a place in a mountain village, midle of nowhere.
Owner and lovely dog know what hospitality means, are very friendly and take very good care of the guests.
