Nice and modern with secured garage parking. Our host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was small but enough for two people for one night. Kitchen was good and also great to have washing machine to wash our clothes.

The only good things there were a nice breakfast in the main Hotel Malovec building and a big convenient parking. Staff also is OK. I rated the review with 6 points only because of that. Everything else is rather disappointing.

Incredible apartment - stylish design, everything is new, cleanliness is perfect! Comfortable beds and soft pillows, kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Beautiful crockery. Washing machine and pods to it. Underfloor heating and large electric towel rail. There is a sauna and heated swimming pool on the territory. Own parking lot.

The car parking is off the street through a gate which you can close,so your car is nice and secure, right in front of the apartment .The front of the apartment looks over a grassy area of about 160 square metres.
We were met by the owner,Dusan,a lovely gentleman, who proceed to give us a run down of the apartment and the town.
On the kitchen table was welcoming gift.Amazing.A bottle of wine ,a bottle of olive oil, jam,several different cuts of cold meat and fresh bread that was so fresh it was still warm.
The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had every conceivable thing in it to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
Town was about 10 minutes walk away.
It is totally private,in a very quiet neighbourhood, it's as if you are on a small acreage, but almost in the middle of town.

Nicely furnished small apartment with everything you need for your stay. The location is in the quiet village, which is great for peaceful break and a great base for sports activities and exploring the natural beauty of the karst (Škocijan caves, Divača cave, Lipica etc). The host was very friendly and helpful.
Perfect location to visit Skocjanske Jame, only a few minutes away by car. The room was quite big. We booked one family room but there were two seperated bedrooms which share one entrance, so it was safe and comfort at the same time to stay with children. We arrived late and could eat in the restaurant of the hotel for the cheap price. It was good because it's a small village and there're no other restaurants, no shops in the near.
The host was lovely and couldn’t have done more for us. Staying here you get a discount on the caves so don’t book in advance! Walking distance to the caves and the walk around the top of the village. There is a shared fridge and plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Hostel Skrla is situated just a few hundred meters from Skocjan Caves. It is a lovely tranquil place. There are hammocks in the garden and there is a restaurant serving excellent breakfast and dinner. Hostel Skrla is situated in the village Matavun, about 5 km from Divaca and there is a nice hiking trail from there which I took, both when I arrived and when I was leaving. Besides visiting the caves the 2 km long Educational Trail is worth walking.

- very close to the cave entrance. Make sure you walk up for 10min to explore Skocjan and Betanj. Tiny villages but pretty and both have amazing viewpoints.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, great staff and location right in the village next to the caves. Very comfortable and clean facilities plus air conditioning. We even got a lift back from the hostel to the train station!
Beautifully simple and relaxed hostel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. they took me to and from the train station and had loads of helpful tips. the wine and food they cook is all local to the villages nearby and really good value for money.
Best place to stay when you want to visit the south-west pat of Slovenia. Walking distance to Skocjan cave (2km) the hiking trail starts behind the property. Other attractions are also very close (Postojna 20min drive, Lipica 10 min drive, Trieste 30 min drive). Very quiet place ,inside small village. Rooms are very clean a comfortable with all the necessary equipment. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Parking is just in front of the apartments and closed by the gate.
