It was very nice that we could use the boat to explore the lake and could go fishing. We also really enjoyed the sauna. The view of the lake from the boat landing is serene. The cottage also has a nice setup, with everything needed in the kitchen. We could also stream our own videos onto the television using Chromecast. The host was very friendly and provided all the information we needed for our visit.

Villa Elegården was lovely, and I wish we were able to spend more time there. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the garden and porch were inviting and we loved every aspect of our stay. We also enjoyed our visit with Tina who was very gracious and brought us coffee and cake. I can't think of a better ending to our visit to Sweden.
Lovely b&b with a lovely owner, one of the best I've ever come across in years of intense traveling. Plenty of food, big sparkling clean room and a beautiful villa surrounded by nature and 5minutes away from airport. Price was also very reasonable
We got all the important information before the check in date, the owner was really helpful and provided more details on how to get to their villa. This place has it’s own charm and all the rooms have its own vibe. It was clean and had all the amenities needed.
I stayed one night in Villa Ekegarden having arrived late in the airport. It was a short taxi ride from the airport, a little on the expensive side but easy. The Villa is tucked away in the countryside. Very peaceful, clean and welcoming. The next day I caught a local bus into central Gothenburg, which was very straightforward.
Absolutely charming old villa with fully refurbished facilities with exquisite attention to detail. The kitchen bar stools had hand knitted socks (that says it all), the the fridge was full with breakfast items (large variety, like three different sorts of milk) and the owner attended to us in person in the morning (check-in was via door code in SMS). Great place to stay, albeit a bit off the normal track. We'd be happy to stay here again!
