The house is great, also the garden, the host is great and prepared for everything. The power went out while we were there, but in a couple of minutes the host helped us to start the generator and the fun went on. I highly appreciated the location and the way the house is set up.

It was "somebody's countryside home", offered now for renting. Be advised it was not purposely built for renting, so don't expect a hotel like experience. On the other side it's a fantastic occasion to be immersed in a mountain village experience, without trading on comfort and access to modern facilities (asphalt road access, broadband internet, centralised heating, etc). The house itself it's in the middle of a generous orchard, the village life sorrounds you without being agressive, it's an "active silence" offering a sense of confort and peace. Ms Julia, the house keeper, is an open minded lady, who can further introduce you to the local experience, she brought us fresh milk and house made sweets.
