Breakfast was healthy, tasty and in abundance! Our host has a vast experience as a professional cook. She offered to cook dinner for us, which we gratefully accepted. Though we returned for dinner several hours after the established hour, our host served us a fabulous meal, opening a bottle of white wine. The lady has got quite the right touch for being a horeca host: leaving people all the privacy they want, being at your disposal whenever you need and having the charisma to joining in a personal conversation, not being shy of making a friendly ironic remark, showing a pleasant touch of hospitability!

The location is absolutely wonderful. We had to privilege to enjoy the autumn colors in a silent and relaxing place. We had the triple room which was just perfect. The ladies taking care of the property (Gabi and Margit) went out of their way to make us feel spoiled. They also recommended us places to visit nearby which really helped as we didn’t make any clear plans beforehand. We plan to come back in summertime and also enjoy some of the bike tracks

The Host - Manuela, her husband and two beautiful kids - were amazingly kind to us! We were super happy to have stayed here. They were welcoming and caring. They helped wherever they could. They brought us fresh home made cheese, and fresh milk ❤️ The apartment is perfect for 1-2 couples. Since it was only me and my boyfriend, we could choose between 2 big rooms which both were equipped with comfy double beds, bedside tables, wardrobe and TV. In the kitchen they had everything (coffee machine, cooking ware etc), and the bathroom was big and clean. We couldn't wish for more! Thank you Rusu family! 🥰

It's a nice and clean place with welcoming and discreet hosts. It's quiet, with comfy bed and good facilities. It's in the Valley of Dinosaurs :), close to the valley where Rausori is located - where we climbed the magnificent Retezat peak from. The road is asphalted and in fairly good shape all the way. The trip was surprisingly fast from our city - Cluj, it took a little more than 2 hours (almost all the way on highway). We'll definitely return.

We had a fabulous time here. The hosts are really nice people, they cooked us a delicious dinner and also let us catch trout for the grill in their fishponds. The garden is beautifully landscaped, they have 2 small dogs, one loves cuddling and the other is a bit shy, but before we left, he wasn't afraid of us anymore. The cottage was in good order, clean sheets, hot water. Of course, if you expect luxury, you have to go to a hotel. But here you will experience real experiences that will stay with you forever. Thank you very much and we hope to visit you again one day.

Good location for trips in the Retezat mountains. Big rooms, comfy beds, kitchen equipped with what you need. The parking place is a big plus. We enjoyed eating outside.
