The bedroom was nice. The surroundings were beautiful. The house is situated in a village that's abandoned. It was interesting to see how nature took over the houses.
Casa Morgado is located in quiet town of Almeida, 200 metres from a historic fortress. It offers homestay accommodation with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and private parking.
This is a little gem, situated in a secluded spot but still only a few minutes from the motorway. Room P was delightful with a large relaxing area. Room Q was more functional, two bedrooms and a bathroom however we were able to sit around and chill in room P. I think booking both rooms is ideal for a party of six. The village/town of Vilar Formoso is a ten minute stroll away and there are perfectly acceptable restaurants here as well as the restaurant on site.
