The room was outstanding within the castle, a fine way to finish our trip. Location is a little out of the way but ten mins to the metro. Mario recommended the fish restaurants which we didn’t know about. We took the metro and had our best meal of the trip, thanks for that SuperMario!

We were able to check in early which was much appreciated and the room was clean. The breakfast included was great. A good size apartment with a great shower.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. We had a massive trip over from Australia with around a 24hr delay and they let us drop off our bags and use the bathroom and relax in the terrace until our room was ready. We were upgraded to the Brasão room also which was beautiful, very comfortable and the bathtub was great to have to relax after such a journey. Breakfast was also amazing.

If you have a car its only 20 mins to down town Porto, and we also travelled to the small village of Pinhao in the douro valley, its a must see.
