The location in a mountain village with views over Douro valley is amazing. We arrived by train to Pinhão station and took a taxi to the hotel. It’s 15 minutes drive with awesome views and it costs around 12€. You should definitely take the dinner prepared by the owner himself, it worths a gourmet restaurant’s menu with wine pairing. Even if it is not said, actually it includes the experience of tasting different kinds of wine from their own vineyard. As we informed Senhor Miguel earlier, the dinner menu was adapted to my parents’ alimentary restrictions. The hotel itself is in a renovated mansion like historical building, so full of charm. We will definitely come back and we will definitely order their great red wine that we can’t forget!

Everything was beautiful, clean, and well put together. Beds are low to the floor, but very comfortable. Everything is new and nice in rooms. Breakfast room/ community kitchen area is so well organized, clean, and has everything. You can purchase drinks, food, wine , and other items on honor system. Hostess is incredibly friendly. Magical place! Stunning house with pool on the grounds of a great Quinta overlooking the Douro. It‘s the only guest accomodation on the wine producing Quinta at the moment, tastefully decorated. Patricia is a great host. She has been walking us through the wine, explaining everything. The wine tasting had been wonderful, the elegant wines absolutely great. We definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

We loved the location in the middle of a vineyard. Breakfast food was in the fridge when we arrived and fresh bread delivered each morning. Picked oranges from the tree in courtyard each day, fresh and delicious. Daniel was wonderful, when google maps got us lost about 5 iminutes from the property, we called Daniel and described where we were, he came in his car to guide us to the property. Spent a morning hiking amongst the vines, terrific views.
