Gorgeous Quinta in Duoro Valley which is close to the Sandeman Port estate which served an impeccable lunch. The Quintas snacks were also very delicious, as was their breakfast and dinner. Dinner and breakfast are served on a communal table. Pool was also very beautiful and rooms were tastefully designed. The free tour of the cellar door was also good.

Lovely Quinta in a lovely position on the outskirts of Pinhao. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were really nice and also very clean.

The setting speaks for itself and that was the initial attraction. But it was pure pleasure to be a guest in this home that has been in the same family since the seventeenth century and is run impeccably and professionally by the owner and a wonderful team. Can’t speak highly enough of it.

The place is absolutely wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer than just one night to enjoy better que quietness in the pool. We had a small wine tasting and we were very well received for the amazing staff, all very kind. The views are to die for, the wine is delicious and it was the best breakfast in our whole trip by far. They totally got my heart.

Lovely spacious apartment with a breathtaking view. The owners are so friendly and attentive. They brought us fresh bread and cakes in the morning and grapes from their garden. The bed was very comfortable
The pool is very refreshing
Very friendly staff, including multiple friendly pet cats—one, Petushka, snuck in our room and snuggled in our bed! Everything was just wonderful from the location in a beautiful mountain village overlooking the Douro valley, the fine breakfast and dinner. Our room on the first floor (second floor to Americans) was huge, in a beautiful renovated historic building (lots of stairs). The proprietors will greet you with port in the comfortable lounge and if you have dinner a whole bottle of wine comes with and port at the end!

The village is 10-15 minutes drive from Pinaho. Nothing to do in the village itself (which is exactly what we wanted - a quiet spot not within a city, with all the requirements and a superb view).

We were welcomed very warmly by Paula. She told us about the bread van that drove through the village from which we bought fresh rolls and delicious custard tarts. The views were beautiful. The house was bright and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was located on the top of the mountain in a tiny village. The building was so beautiful and the surroundings were magical. The welcoming was the warmest we have ever witnessed in Portugal. The family who owns the hotel welcomed us with Porto wine and Portuguese songs :) Τhe dinner and breakfast was set at a big table designed for everyone to eat together. The meals were so delicious 😋 Βefore and after the dinner Porto wine accompanied the whole night. We are so grateful for this special hospitality and we can’t wait to come again ❤️

It is a huge place, equipped with all you may need for a long stay. There's a view on a river, a pool, and lots of space outside to play with the kids.
The location is perfect IMHO - less than 15 minutes drive from Pinhao, a small, quiet village. Close enough to the center, and far enough from the crowds.
The host was very helpful and assisted with everything.

Room was large and had wonderful views over the river and the vineyards and small villages.
The meals were very good, plenty of selections of ham, cheeses,fruit, breads etc at breakfast, and the dinners were all very very tasty, with very large portions..(too much for me usually). The host was very generous with his wine and port as well.
