The apartment is absolutely beautiful, clean, modern and in a very central location. Our host Ana was extremely friendly and helpful and communication prior to arrival was excellent. From the apartment, a 10-15 minute walk will bring you to the center of Loule where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. There is a huge supermarket 5 minutes walk from the apartment to stock up on essentials. A taxi (approx 8-10 Euro) would bring you to the trendy beach resort of Vilamoura if you wanted a change of scenery and a visit to its stunning beaches. I have holidayed for many years in the Algarve and I found Apartamento Mãe Soberana to be the best for comfort, location and value.

We had a very nice time in Bicas Velhas Studio. The apartment is beautiful and completely complete. Everything was there to cook for yourself. Nice shower and a good bed. The location is perfect. Directly in the old center at the water source. You can also drink delicious water from it. It was very hot the days we were there. 37 degrees. In the evening you can air things out by opening both doors. That works, and at night the fan cooled us down enough.

Modern, cleaned and well located. It's an amazing place, bigger than the photos led to believe. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail such as colouring books and pencils for the kids, a complimentary bottles of wine and water, a washing pod and coffee capsules. I recommend and plan to visit again!
