The most gorgeous house and village. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, even some food (pasta, flour, hot chocolate, coffee, etc). You can walk around the village with gorgeous views, the only thing you can hear are the birds chirping.

Excellent breakfast, perfect staff, middle of small town, very good value, delicious food, room made up only when requested - so for me once a week and I appreciated this. If you need a hairdryer just ask. Unpretentious. Useful if you can speak Portuguese. I do not but this was not a problem. Food and accomodation exceptional value. All the food is delicious but try the turbot....Although the television is in Portuguese this was not a problem as most foreign films and documentaries are dubbed so I listened to the English version. I watched many good films and animal and historical documentaries. The air conditioning works well, extremely clean and very comfortable bed. small market on Mondays. An Intermarche is nearby and sells most things every day of the week.

Generous sized accommodation in a cute little village. Highly recommend the cafe in the town for espresso. Staff were very friendly (although not much English). Lounge room has a big tv and Netflix.
Staying in an old stone cottage in an ancient village, but having modern conveniences. Having the farmer and his cattle walk by our bedroom window every morning on their way to pasture. The accommodations were first class and wonderfully decorated.
We were planning to stay in the area of Geres National Park. We found this place and we were so happy about it.
The place is located in a very small village - so if you need to buy stuff, there is a place 15 minutes away.
The house itself is very well maintained, everything is new, fully equiped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The swimming pool was so great in a hot day.

The setting of the house is incredible - so picturesque and quiet. The river is beautiful and great for a cool dip. The village feels like stepping back in time. It’s a really special place to stay and Antonio - our host - was extremely welcoming and friendly. We didn’t want to leave and would love to come back here.
The house was perfect. It is a typical village house updated to be very comfortable. The rooms were well equipped and both had heating.
The kitchen area is big and it had a renovated bathroom.
During the night the village is super silent. Apart from birds, there is no street noise.
The house is right in the center of the village, and it's walking distance from the Passadiços do Rio Homem.
