A group of 12 of us stayed in this Excellent villa. Lots of space in the grounds, with fruit trees and great bbq equipment. The owners were great communicators & were very helpful. We had 2 grocery deliveries from a supermarket which made shopping for a large group Would definitely Recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely villa and vineyard. And it was a nice break from a hard day on The Camino De Santiago. The owner, Mr. Campos is a lovely person, and he met us personally upon arrival. He gave us a quick tour of the grounds, and we could see that he is very proud of it. He gave us a bottle of the wine that is produced by his family from his vineyard, and it was a very tasty wine. The home is from the 17th century, so not very modern- but we were comfortable. It kind of felt like we had gone back in time, but in a good way. In the morning there was a lovely breakfast with local meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, pastries, freshly cooked eggs along with wonderful tea, coffee, and fresh juice. The grounds are very beautiful. After breakfast, Mr. Campus gave us a ride into Barcelos. There was a flower festival going on and he wanted to show us personally. He was extremely accommodating and jovial. If we are ever back in the area, I would definetely stay here again.

It was an amazing experience. The house was spacious, bright, and clean, which added to the overall ambiance. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The planning of the rooms was very well thought out, making it easy to move around the house. The house was also very well equipped, which made our stay even more comfortable. I especially appreciated how perfect the house was for mobilities of #Erasmus+. Overall, I would highly recommend Gallo's House to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Barcelos. A wonderful, well maintained place! Very kind and responsive hosts. Very generous breakfast was served in a basket each morning. The building we stayed in was perfectly restored and furnished with a very well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful pool.

Stunning view of the valley below. Lovely pool. Very clean and new property with great outdoor furniture. Communication with owners/managers was brilliant. Very helpful indeed. Nice coffee machine! Mattresses are firm but very comfy. Plenty of storage in bedrooms. Very peaceful surroundings. Would definitely return!

Fabulous villa! Plenty of space inside and out. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were amazing and very friendly. A few small cafes within a km which are walkable, but otherwise a car is needed to get around. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting self catering and a relaxing holiday.
