Small but perfectly formed, it was well equipped, very clean and had everything needed. Having visited during the hottest week of the year the air con was great! The owner was easy to contact and helpful and the decor was of a high standard. I was visiting a friend who lives nearby so I'll definitely be back and would look to see if this place was available again without hesitation. Great value for money and a lovely place to stay close to the local bars, restaurants and shops.

The location is beautiful and Dona Laura was amazing and looked after us so well. She was able to tell us the history of the house and village and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts she made as well. We would love to return again in the future and bring some of our family also.

Very quaint hotel in Monsanto. Room was very clean with private bathroom. Lisette met us promptly and cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Superb communication.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de David. The room is beautifully appointed and our host was very welcoming and helpful. Monsanto is an interesting, historic village. Eating out options were limited in the village as we were near the end of the season so it would be wise to take a few provisions. We did have an excellent breakfast provided by Estela.
Charming old world building with tons of character, great breakfast and comfortable bed, facilities spotlessly clean. Our host Rui and his staff were lovely to meet and talk with. Village was a step back in time.
The location was easy to find, the hostess was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was well organised. The village is peaceful and very well located in nature.
Lovely guest house, very friendly hosts. It’s a very small village, we had one night there and it was Sunday. Only place open for dinner was a pizza shop. Breakfast was very good.
