Location was absolutely amazing. Free parking all around and very quiet while being right in the centre. The apartment had all appliances you can think off (although no washing machine). We got the instructions of entering the apartment 60 min in advance and it was really easy to get in. AC worked perfectly fine, one remote that worked on all divides separately could have goten a little instruction, we found out eventually

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning we had a wonderful check in experience that included a taste of the wine made on property. The owner made us feel extremely welcomed. The views on the property and rooms are just magical. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable. Our only regret was not booking an extra day.

Private Douro- Quinta das Susandas features a landscape, overlooking green areas. The rural property includes an outdoor swimming pool. The Douro riverside area is a 5-minute drive away.

Everything was great, location and the variety of equipments. Was undoubtedly the best place we’ve stayed for our 1 month trip to Portugal and was also the cheapest.

Vila Marim Country Houses was an excellent place to stay at while in the Douro Valley The bedrooms were very comfortable and had great views over the vineyards. Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly.

Overlooking the Douro River, this Portuguese house offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms. Casa De Canilhas has an outdoor pool with a sun-lounger terrace.

This was the highlight of our trip around the Douro Valley. The service, attention and care we had at the Quinta was exceptional. The host Fernando is one of a kind, we loved everything. We got fresh figs and grapes on the room, and special wine of Porto, all complimentary goodies from the host. The room was pretty big, comfortable, renovated like fresh new. We loved this place. We got many tips for enjoying the region, including nice restaurants (Porfirio in Lamego), boat cruise 1-2 hrs, leaving the Cais of Pinhao and wine tasting visits on the popular wine houses around (Quinta da Pacheca, Six Senses, etc). We had a great breakfast in the Quinta, prepared with local fresh ingredients, natural juice and great local coffee.
