It's a simple traditional house, big enough for 2 people, with a big garden (and a view of Mount Pico). The house is clean and the wifi is strong. The bathroom is nice and clean with a bidet. The single bed is good quality. It's a kind of rural place with a traditional house up on the hill, in the middle of the village. If you like that, you'll be okay there. There are natural pools and hiking options as well in the proximity. You will need a car! For the price we paid it was OK.

This place was the highlight of our whole trip to the Acores. Stunning house in a stunning location, overlooking the cliff, a short walk to the small beach, so peaceful and relaxed, I could not have dreamed it any better. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place to go. At night, the stars and the Cagarro come out, and the songs of these birds is like nothing I've heard before, special and beautiful. The hosts brought us some welcome gifts and made sure we were fine, and gave us some background info on the area and the house. I would give more stars if I could!

A wonderful holiday home, where you will first be surprised by the friendly staff, who also provide useful information about restaurants, tourist spots, etc. Breakfast is homemade, plentiful. In addition to the rest, they offer a laundry service, which comes in handy on a long trip.
The terrace offers a wonderful view of the Atlantic.
Helen and Vera are great hosts. The house is situated on a hill in a very tranquil village, overlooking the ocean. We were particularly fond of the breakfast, which was delicious and where we got together with the other few people staying here. Helen and Vera would also assist us un planning our day, with reccomandations and reservations for different nice places on Pico Island.
