Beautiful view over the ocean. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The balcony is a bit small with the ACs there too, but the garden is accessible to all guests.

It is an apartments hotel. We are a couple, and had a T1 apt, which is the smallest. It is quite large.
It has a spacious leaving room with fully equipped kitchenet. The bathroom facilities were brand new and functioned well. The bed room is also very spacious and cosy. The bed very comfortable. There is a good a A/C. The WIFI is super strong and stable. The stuff, either in the reception or cleaning are very polite and helpful. The WIFI super strong and stable.
They have also a wet room (sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) which is a nice place to relax at the end of the day, and is opened until 10:30 pm.
The hotel is from one hand 20 minutes drive from ponta delgada, and from the other hand 30 minutes drive from sete cidades and the lakes

Maria’s Haven is truly a refuge. It is easy to see that the comfort and well being of her guests are on Maria’s mind. The house is spotlessly clean, well appointed and very spacious. Having an accommodation on 2 levels is an extra bonus. The kitchen is fully functional and there is even a bag with towels ready for those who are heading to the beach. The garden has plenty of room to sit or enjoy a meal. The village is quiet, yet easily accessible. Should we return to San Miguel Island, Maria’s Haven will be our first choice of accommodation.
The apartment is very spacious, clean, well maintained. We felt like at home.
The host, Maria, is extremely friendly and helpful and will go out of her way to help you feel welcome.
We got a complementary wine and some snacks. This was a very kind gesture.
The washing machine was definitely needed as we were travelling light.
Santo António is just 18 minutes away from the Ponta Delgada airport.
There's a small village shop 350m away from the apartment.
