The breakfast is very good. The room was very comfortable and included a bath towel that was renewed every day. The hostel was located extremelly close to the village centre, near bars, cafés and the main church. It is a short walk up to to the castle and its gardens.
Very nice villa with traditional architecture with just a few rooms available surrounded with a big garden where you'll find some animals like rabbits, ducks, chickens and exotic birds. Staff was super friendly and available. The bedroom was very large and comfortable with simple but classy decoration and the bathroom was modern and clean. Very nice home-like breakfast. Bonus for me: they had a plug to recharge my electric car in the parking lot.
We were surprised by the view of the castle and medieval village. Other reviews are accurate: helpful but not friendly staff, comfortable beds, spacious family room, bathtub. Buffet continental breakfast (bread, pastry, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, cold meat and cheese slices) was good.
Regarding other comments about “dated” furnishings, yes they are older but of the solid classic European style. I’d rather have solid than trendy which breaks and chips after a few uses!
Location was great - at the heart of the village, close to restaurants and bars, no difficulty parking nearby. Staff was very nice and helpful, everything was very clean, the bathrooms modern and the air conditioning worked well.
