We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The views were absolutely spectacular, we sat on the deck and watched the sun go down over the valley with wine that we purchased from the Quinta. The house is roomy and equipped with everything we needed. All the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. Anna the host was so helpful and friendly, and her wine tasting session with us was very informative and fun. We walked up through the vines to the local village of Provesende for coffee in the morning, and bought some cheese and bread for picnic dinner the previous night as not close to any restuarants. Was so peaceful and the best place we stayed in Portugal. Highly recommend it.
Offering an outdoor swimming pool with sweeping Douro Valley views, Quinta Manhas Douro is surrounded by nature and also features a restaurant.

A great place to stay with a superb location and a very clean and spacious room. The staff were super friendly and the evening meal we had was excellent. The swimming pool area was a welcome bonus as was the bar and food available as it was a bit of a drive to anything nearby.

The accommodation is set within the village of Provosende and surrounded by vineyards. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast and diners are good. We particularly enjoyed our candlelight dinner in the families beautiful 17th Century family home.

They had a spectacular dinner for all of us that even included other guests that included a tour of the old estate, wine tasting and a 4 course dinner. The food was average but the experience, the atmosphere and the host were exceptional.
It was a highlight of our month long visit to Portugal
Wonderful hosts in a beautiful hill top village. We had tasty dinner with the hosts and other guests, an very enjoyable experience. Parking easily found in the main parking area in town before you reach the property coming from Pinhao. We hiked down to to Pinhao which was delightful, walking on mainly paved paths enjoying the views and having no problems catching a taxi back. Don't let the winding road stop you staying here. Just take your time!
A lovely property in a beautiful village. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving advice on the local area and booking restaurants ( thank you Maria).
The views from the property were gorgeous, I didn't want to leave.
We loved everything about this stay - the room, the food, the port wine, and most of all the passion the staff and owner have for their historical manor house built in the 1600’s! The rooms are top-notch and lovely. We also enjoyed walking through the village. It was a fabulous experience overall!
Breakfast eggs cooked to order plus . Evening option of full meal with wine pairing or a selection of smaller items tapas or salad. Spacious surroundings.Pleasant village location.
Very comfortable. Nice small town/village away from the busy Pinhao. Excellent caring hosts that were very helpful with some dietary restrictions for breakfast and dinner and helping us park out front.
Great way to experience local living in a great rural home, have great meals and knowledgeable wine pairings. Fun!
Would easily recommend to all for a great Douro Valley experience.
Great room in main building, lovely outdoor areas and pool. 5 minute walk to village to some quirky cafes and a fascinating pub where the owner makes his own port.
