It's difficult to tell what was better in this building, because everything is just perfect here. Unbelievable view on the river, very comfortable house, nice terrace and hot tub.

We highly recommend ! Casa d'Amares was a wonderful stay! One of the cleanest places you will feel very comfortable here, I wanted to take my shoes off as soon as I walked into the room ! Also so accommodating and the staff /owner were amazingly super nice! The breakfast included was excellent! You will be extremely happy here and impressed by all. Thank you Fernanda & Paula for a wonderful stay , I hope to come back one day!

The host has provided excellent and comprehensive information in advance of the journey with regard to the premises as such, how to get there and how to get the keys by email and video. Very well done. This place is best for those who wish to relax, enjoy the nature and quiteness and who are prepared to make trips for sight seeing rather than to have everything in walking distance.

Hosts are super friendly, nice people, even gave me a lift to the nearby wedding venue (huge thank you for this). Great facities, my 3yo enjoyed the pool. The expterior and interior is tastefully decorated in rustic and traditional Portuguese style. It's also very close to the main wedding venue Amares, which was key for me.

It was quiet and wonderful. The Quinta seems like a forgotten and hidden place where nothing changes. Teresa makes sure everything is organised very tidy. A lovely breakfast with toast, fresh baked cake and bread rolls every day. It’s a historic and unique place! Go and see 👌 But forget fast WiFi, just enjoy scrambled eggs and espresso ☕️
