I would like to thank the very friendly staff who accommodated us late at midnight after our flight to Porto got delayed. The apartment itself was fabulous, fully equipped and super clean. The location was absolutely incredible - at the very heart of the city, within a short walking distance to every major attraction. Everything was super close, even the supermarket was just around the corner. If you liked, you could even take a nice walk to the ocean along the scenic Douro river valley.

Receiving a message 2 days before via whatsapp to just give all information as we were arriving a little later, to the communication backwards and forwards to confirm dietary info for breakfast, was all simply brilliant.

The holiday home we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is a quiet, relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of Porto but also easy to access the city centre by metro or Uber. Fred went out of his way to help solve a booking mistake made on our side which we were extremely grateful for. His priority is that his guests are happy and enjoy their stay and he is extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Porto.
Location is good. We walked from the train station to our apartment. Very near to a shopping centre to buy food. There is a variety of restaurants nearby. It is a beautiful apartment and furnishings are in good taste. I will definitely choose Oporto Yellow Villas again if I might go to Porto again.

The downtown location is fantastic, near plenty of options for excellent food, drinks, and a short walk to the water & the bridge to Villa Nova de Gaia. If you don’t mind the hills of Porto it is the perfect spot to explore the city on foot.
The apartment is spacious, modern, with everything thoughtfully setup to make the stay worthwhile. The beds are comfortable (hard/firm, which I like), there are two powerful fans in the living room. Blackout curtains in both the living room and the bedroom to keep the light out in the morning.
We had a garden view room. If you need perfect silence, then choose only a room with a garden view. The room was very clean, there was a beautiful view of the bamboo thickets outside the window. The sounds of the city did not reach us at all as if we lived in a village and not in a noisy city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were very varied, everything was fresh and tasty. You can additionally order some dishes from the menu for free, which will be prepared especially for you.
The character of the hotel being an old villa was amazing. The staff was very attentive. And it was a great location in the heart of the Porto historic district and on a great pedestrian shopping street.

Great central location but pretty basic apartment. Busy, noisy area but the black out blinds were fantastic. Anything you might expect from a holiday home was there.
I can't praise the host or the flat enough. This is not your typical short term holiday rental - it is a home. I could easily walk in and stay. The attention to detail is 5 star hotel quality. The flat is beautiful with lovely touches, e.g. the flowers and pictures. It's very handy for the old town and the River. Also a great supermarket near by. The host went out of her way to help us. If I did a holiday rental, this is the benchmark I would hope to live up to. If I could give more than 10 I would.
