Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Breakfasts were delicious and delivered to your door each morning. We loved that we could stroll up the hill to the levada, as well as a lovely traditional restaurant.

What a wonderful & unique haven of peace this is. The view and the sunsets are simply outstanding, there is no noise around except for wildlife (and we love that). It is perfect if you want a calm stay in Madeira, while being able to drive around the island to discover it. Pictures may be enticing, but experiencing it is something else. Everything was clean and well equipped, the cottage is really welcoming thanks to its owners. Indeed, Graham & Kamila are amazing hosts, and beautiful people on top of that. It was lovely to chat with them and I am so glad we could share their love for this island and this place, be it for two weeks only. If I were to go back in Madeira, I would never think about going anywhere else.
