Amazing hotel like foyer with lift. location very central next to the cathedral, parking easy in the bus station next to the school behind the property. Our first stop in the Douro Valley, and one that was hard to beat. Carla gave us a warm welcome and looked after us very well throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfy and had a lovely view from the balcony. Complimentary port in the room went down well! The grounds are lovely and we were given the freedom to explore. Both pools were clean and shared the views of the valley and surrounding area. We enjoyed delicious meal and wines produced on the quinta in the evening. Breakfast was also excellent. We hope to return and bring our family.

We were made so welcome by Manuel as soon as we arrived. It’s a beautiful, traditional family home The breakfast was delicious and the service very friendly. The attention to detail was exceptional, the gardens are beautiful, we loved the honesty bar by the pool and the welcome drink. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning Douro valley.

Huge and fantastic house in the center of the city. The house is just amazing, with 4 big and confortable rooms, a huge living room and meals room, a small tv room and a big kitchen. The 2 bathroons are very very good. The views are very nice, the house is quiet and very near the center of the city. Keep in mind that the house is in the higher part of town, so when returning from the river side you will need to walk uphill... but it is not that much and it is well worth it. Its a fantastic house.

Loved our stay! Carla was the most amazing host, so attentive and kind, and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are spacious and air conditioned, with comfortable beds. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing, with lots of areas to sunbathe or sit in the shade or sun. Carla does amazing tapas and their own wine is so nice (and a bargain - bring cash for the extra food/drinks). The breakfast was incredible with such a good continental spread - the homemade cakes were a lovely bonus! Nice and close to lots of vineyards (we went to a wedding next door at Quinta Da Pacheca) - Carla kindly helped call us a taxi a few times to get to/from Regua. Couldn’t recommend the stay more!

Beautiful view of the vineyards. Five km to the next restaurant
Beautifully situated in a quiet village with a wonderful view of passing boats on the Douro river below. We loved that this was an authentic village, not a tourist place.
Facilities were great - dishwasher, washing machine, a/c throughout.
The hosts were really communicative, helpful and patient with us changing our arrival time.
It’s a good sized property, with plenty of space for a family.
The Villa is very large and well equipped.
Very nice swimming pool.
But the most important thing to mention is the VIEW.
I think it is the best locarion in the Douro.
The Villa is located on a "first line" location with nothing to block or even somehow interfere the magnificent view.
We stayed 2 nights but could surly stay for the whole week.
