Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport. Beautiful house, lots of space, large rooms, nice big swimming pool, lovely grounds for kids to explore, few mins walk from good local supermarket, easy walking distance from two lovely restaurants in the village.

Good pool, breakfast, room, cleaning and common spaces.
I would also recomend a walk around the nearby village, it's very charming.
It is a lovely house in a beautiful location. The host also referred us to a wonderful little restaurant in the local village. We had a very enjoyable meal there.
It was in a tranqueille village nearby the river Douro, we stayed two nights at Dourwin. wonderful place to relax and rest, hospitality of Manuela is at high level, she is very helpful and satisfies all the unique wishes of the guests. We would like to highlight the restaurant and the somelier Ricardo who has huge knowledge of wines of Portugal and other wine regions worlwide. Ricardo is very kind and friendly guy, serving the best type of wines of the guest’s wishes.
Casa Valxisto is beautiful! Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and situated on the edge of a beautiful village with views across a vine yard and mountains!
Beautiful place, lovely owner, fantastic breakfast delivered to the room as daughter wasn’t feeling well. Located on the edge of a lovely traditional village. Sadly didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great! Would definitely return.
