The house was spacious and had all the necessary equipment. Everything was also very clean and tidy. The best part was the garden and views that changed throughout the day. The host was really nice and friendly, would always come back.

This apartment is located in the last village, almost in the end of Maderia Island. Perfect place for families, sunset lovers, and those who looking for calm, easygoing accommodation. Better if you have car.
Elaine is very kind and helpful. The apartment was above her bakery, so we could start every morning with some delicious nata looking over the sea. Right next to the villa there is a shop as well, that is open until 9pm.
The villa is much, much bigger that what you can expect from photos and description. It is huge, with 3 big rooms, each with own bathroom + two additional toilets. It is located in the lovely town of Paul do Mar, there is a beach (rocky, actually concrete) close by, some bars (two were open) and a shop. There are nice restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the villa. The kitchen is nicely furbished. Swimming pool is a bit small, but enough for kids to play in.
We loved the size of the villa, the veranda and the two balconies. It was great for a family of six. The location is quiet but you get the most beautiful sunsets. Our host Iva was really lovely. She left a lovely bottle of wine, milk, tea and coffee. She gave lots of useful information on the day of our arrival for places to eat and visit. She couldn't have been more welcoming.
Location great - a lovely friendly fishing village with a few nice restaurants and a small supermarket just up road (past villa so took a day for us to find!).

Everything was really great. The location in small village Paul do Mare with great sunsets. The owner was friendly and nice. Room was large and clean with great view to ocean. Breakfast was amazing.

Town is in great part of the island, with many levadas and great places to visit by car nearby. Excellent restaurants walking distance, quiet port and stone beach for short walks. Great cliffs just next to sea. Many colorful and picturesque villages just minutes away.. Paradise..
