Loved the views over the valley, the pool, very comfortable living area and bedrooms with A/C, how clean everything was and how responsive the host was to messages. The apartment is charming, well designed and very clean. It is a village-house that was renewed from the inside, and this makes the experience special. The host is super nice and baked us a cake. I highly recommend this place.

It is therefore a very nice experience to stay in a traditional semi-buried rural house, with walls made of thick stone blocks, small windows, and traditional wooden roof. The bed was comfortable, and two portable heaters were sufficient to heat up any room even on cold rainy days. The location is wonderful, in the middle of a small mountain village, just between the church and the Espigueiros. Two bakeries and a mini-market are within the walking distance. You may meet local Garrano horses grazing around the nearby park and the Cachena cows on the surrounding slopes. It is a good place for hikes into the park, or to barrage and nearby Lindoso. The place is served by sporadic public busses from Arcos de Valdevez central bus station (https://www.avic.pt/home).
