It was all impeccably restored and very clean and well maintained. Also the owners were very pleasant and helpful with us. And of course the property is stunning in a great location

Perfect holiday home in a wonderful environment. We especially liked the view, the swimming pool and the helpfulness of our hostess Tania. She texted us some nice recommendations like the Baloiço do Mezio. Hiking through beautiful Peneda-Gerês is one of the great things to do, as the home is located close to a long distance walking trail.
Loved loved loved the location, amazing friendly village, wonderful history, and the casa was beautifully renovated. Very quiet. Pool beautiful but freezing! Enjoyed the view from the pool deck and watching the sun go down. Extremely generous breakfast, kept us going all day. We'll equipped kitchen.
Loved the authenticity of the property and the village. The pool was a lovely bonus. The loft bedroom was very spacious, bright, nicely appointed and offered great views. Easy access to walking trails nearby. Enjoyed two meals at Cafe Mo, which is a 5-minute walk from the property. Owner Mario was very accommodating, friendly and had great recommendations.
What a wonderful location - a mountain village with cobbled streets just wide enough for one small vehicle. There were breathtaking views across the mountains towards the Spanish border and some great places to eat a short drive away. Our host, Mario, could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
The house has a fantastic terrace with a nice view on the historic stone grain storage cabinets.
It is located in a nice relaxed village and at a 10min walk there is cool pool in a small river for swimming.
The two bedrooms on the upper level have a beautiful view into the valley.
Plenty of space for parking.
The host, Mário, was very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of info. Fresh fruits and other tasty things welcomed us at the property. Location and facilities were superb, views, pool (although a bit cold during that time), the village itself. Great for visiting Peneda-Gerês national park and calm stay (I only wish we had more time to spend there and with a bit better weather).
