Wimm and Monique, the very hospitable owners,have set up their own little animal sanctuary in their beautiful Quinta and being able to stay with them was a real priviledge and the highlight, for both my husband and myself, of our months much enjoyed trip round Portugal. The whole place, the villas, and the rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very beautiful.
The room service was very nice - we asked for wine to be delivered to our villa and for the fireplace to be fired - and everything was done immediately.
There is a beautiful lake and a huge pool outside and pools of decent size for every villa. Also, there is a SPA with a pool and different saunas.
Make sure to book more than one night there to use all the services and offers!
