Casa do Mar stole our hearts! We loved everything about our stay. The view at sea and Faial is mesmerizing. The facilities in the house are superb, we cooked some lovely diners in the kitchen and enjoyed eating them on the shared terrace while enjoying the sunset. In the morning you are welcomed with a lovely breakfast and hot coffee. The bed and shower is good. There is osmosis tap water, therefore you do not have to buy big bottles of water. A huge supermarket is only 10min walking. The walk into town (Madalena) is only a few minutes where you can jump into the natural swimming pools, go for a nice diner or walk to the harbour to go for a whale watching tour. The interior of the house is very scandinavian and light, with lots of wood. As said… we loved it and if we ever visit Pico again we would definetely stay here again.

This property was absolutely spectacular! If you are questioning whether you should book this villa, do not hesitate! The villa was exceptionally clean and well-stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to find the home and the views both in the front and back were fantastic. One of the best experiences we've ever had. I would highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever returned to Pico Island.

The property looks very nice, and the outdoor space is fantastic. But the room I booked was extremely small, without any windows (just a small hatch on the door). We did not stay and immediately called the property. They were fully booked, so I booked another place. Over 100€ for a dungeon?! In below ground floor!? Not acceptable. And, according to Portuguese law, a room needs a window, or balcony. Otherwise it’s not considered a room. The very low offer in Pico makes it possible to charge this much money for a dungeon!!! Booked a large room for 150€ with ocean view, breakfast included, in a village 20 minutes away. Make sure you check the specific room for photos and size.
