The Location was wonderful, you were welcomed as one of the family,, the breakfast was great, with home made bread, cake, jams, local lavender honey and freshly squeezed oranges. The room was a great size, comfy beds with good bathroom facilities. Access to water, coffee, tea and home made cookies was 24/7 and to cap it off the night sky was sparkling. So all just all really. And there are some good restaurants in the village.

The hotel is in a perfect location with great views of the river. Poolside is excellent. It has a bar, museum, and a breakfast room. My room had air con and was great value for money.

I loved everything. If I had known that the hotel and the village were so lovely, I would have made plans to stay longer. Philipa from reception was absolutely brilliant..
Beautifully renovated accommodation, with all the comfort you would want including tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. Bruno is a welcoming and enthusiastic host taking his time to highlight the historic importance of this charming former mining village. Great breakfast too!
