JP, the host was very helpful and went out of his way to take us to a tour of the area. He had a number of rules that he clearly communicated with us and we had no problems with it. He was always pleasant and very informative with a dry sense of humor. His service was very personalized and we felt welcomed. He always offered us a drink whenever we arrive back in the property and he prepared sumptuous hot breakfasts every morning at a time we agreed upon the night before. The place was immaculately clean with fresh linens everyday and private parking was great. Though, we did not get a chance to use the swimming pool, the salt treated pool was well kept and very inviting.

We absolutely loved the location and spend many evenings on the lovely, secluded terrace. The surroundings were very quiet. The property is spacious and has everything you need for a great stay. The owner and his daughter were ever so helpful and very friendly. Viana do Castelo is enchanting with lovely beaches, great food, charming vibe: we definitely go again!

Ricardo went above and beyond with his communication regarding key exchange and flexibility to meet us and walk through the house and provide explanations. A very kind person. In addition he sent lots of info about the town, places to visit, where to park in the town etc. The house has a nice terrace, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in one ( so helpful to have!). Super quiet area, no noise! The parking was a 2 min walk from the house, free, on street and safe. Grocery store 10 min walk away. It was raining while we were there and consequently towels were slow to dry. We would love to return and spend a few extra days!

The apartment was a real home-from-home and lacked nothing for a comfortable stay. I loved being able to sit out on the balcony to have my breakfast. Antonio, the owner was very accommodating in letting me check- in very early. It was very easy to park outside the apartment and there was a little bus passed nearby, going into town. There are 2 large supermarkets within walking distance and and a couple of local bars and bakeries nearby.
