I don't usually leave a 10/10 review, but this was one of the best stays I can remember. Nice cozy house in Maia, with reserved parking and a terrace with a nice view (of the sea too!) in the back. The house has every appliance you need and the hosts are available and swift to reply to emails. They also left us some treats and breakfast supplies, which was very appreciated. Really recommended!

The kitchen and bath are modern and comfortable with good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, dishes, cookware, etc. The property is a lovely, updated home that feels like a HOME, not a rental. The host provided a generous Welcome Package of wine, cheese, bread and other comforts for our arrival which was an unexpected and appreciated surprise. Free parking is conveniently available across the street. It was easy to walk to the beach, hiking, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants. The village is quiet and charming, it felt a bit like stepping back in time.

our stay in maia at casa piscinas naturais was remarkable for the great facility with plenty of room and really appreciated having the use of a washing machine and dryer - we took several coastal walks just outside our door that were absolutely gorgeous - it's thoroughly entertaining to just spend time watching the continual waves of the north coast of sao miguel island pounding against the black lava rocks - we loved our time there
