Really surprised by this brilliant guest house and location in Batalha. We booked it as a place with a pool to spend a few days between trips to Lisbon and Porto - what a great decision. There's so much more to do in the area than we realised. It's rural but easy access to the silver coast and surrounded by history and adventure. Our two teenagers loved being at the poolside and felt really safe here. We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed longer, visiting lots of places nearby. We timed it well with the big Festa to celebrate the battle of albujarrato so there was music every night in town. This area is great value for money for eating out compared to the big cities. Loved it and would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Having breakfast cooked for you is a great treat too. Beautiful location and views.

What a great place to stay in! The location is just a 4 minute walk from the busstation. It's just close to everything in general!
The apartment itself was very clean and everything you needed was available. The bed was so comfortable.
Even though we didn't meet the hostess, she was very nice through the phone and did her best to make the place available for us!
I can say it's the best apartment we've ever stayed in! Next time, I'm surely booking at Casa dAmélia again : )
