Everything was amazing. We were 6 people and 2 dogs.
> So much space inside the house, but specially, outside! It's enormous
> You have everything you need in there
> Internet is AMAZING taking in consideration this is really in the middle of nowhere (we had one person working from home for 2 days, and never failed)
> The river, the view, the silence... there are things that you feel the money can't buy, and this are some of them

It is difficult to know what to write as a review when everything was such a perfect fit for us; the property location, rooms, hosts, breakfast/refreshments on offer and overall ambiance all superb. The many animals on site may not prove to everyone’s taste but it is their home, and for us they added a wonderful extra reason to enjoy our stay. Susana and Vasco are such hospitable and helpful hosts, yet not at all intrusive, so we felt truly at home from the first minute to the last - it was so hard to leave when the time came! Thank you, we will return for sure one day.

A very well kept and charming guesthouse, located at the heart of the village and decorated with taste by committed owners. Very honest advices given regarding the do & don't of Monsaraz. Of course, room is scarce on the fortress-island of Monsaraz so do not expect very roomy sleeping rooms. With a tasty and quality breakfast from home made products and a fantastic view from the terrace, an overall great value !

This little cottage is in the most beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The village is spectacular. We felt so privileged to be able to ‘live’ in such a special place for a few days. The terrace and the views are wonderful. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village. The local lake beach is fab with a great restaurant and lots of water activities. The communication from the hosts was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Traditional old village house with high ceilings and spacious rooms. I didn't have the breakfast as I wanted to leave early to go to Noudar castle and nature park.
