Sometimes the photos on booking make the place look better than it actually is, with this place it's absolutely the other way around.
The pictures don't do this place justice, it is one amazing location and an amazing room with everything you want. It felt like a little paradise just for us and we almost didn't want to leave the nest!

Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to self cater. Great base for exploring Sete Cidades and The coastline. The village is very quiet but there is a cafe, pizzaria and small supermarket within walking distance. Hosts were helpful and responded quickly to questions. Very kind of them to provide bread, jam, tea and coffee. Great stay!
The villa is amazing, well kept traditional style, clean and comfortable, beds are really comfy, washing machine avaliable and drying area no need to carry too much clothes , only 5 minutes away close to supermarket and some traditional restaurants and only 1p minutes away from sete cidades.
Everything about this property was perfect. From the location (close to the beaches but also near the convenience store), to the hospitality of the host, (greeting us with a smile, local products and traveling tips), our stay in Villa Elysium made our trip in Azores worth it! It is perfect for bigger groups, having large common areas both inside the house and outside. Would totally book again!
We stayed in the villa which was spacious with a large living area, kitchen, and separate bedroom. It was a standalone structure that was separate from the rest of the buildings/rooms. This was nice as it was quiet and private. However, it did not have any views and it did not have a washing machine which would've been a nice added bonus, especially for families that the villa likely targets! We had dinner at the hotel 3 times and the meals were creative and well executed.
You can feel like in 17th century original Portuguese villa - all historical equipment is for you to use! It's magical! I felt like Lady Makbet - I would absolutely recommend this to many people for quite nice experience!
I stayed in the Country Suite for 1 night, the room is beautifully decorated and had a helpful book about São Miguel Island with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit whilst on the Island. I also liked the bath salts and the reduction in plastic for the toiletries. The villa and area is peaceful and is only about a 10 minute drive from Sete Cidades, Mosteiros and Feteiras.
 we stayed in the villa, which was very private. Our adult children stayed in an ocean facing room, which they also loved. Breakfast were substantial dinner was quite good as well. Front desk staff was outstanding, helping us with reservation, suggestions etc..
Rustic relaxed place in the quiet village. Sea view was magical. Noise of the donkey that was living next door was scary at first but we learn to love it. Well equiped kitchen, access washing machine.
Every was perfect! The contact, the attention and surroundings of the house! We were extremely happy with our choice.
The house is beautifully located and had good amenities. You can watch the sunset from the roof.
