Very comfortable and well equiped appartments. Large and comfortable beds. The appartments were not ready at the time of our arrival and we had to wait for an hour. Better to give them a bit earlier time as they do the cleaning last minute. But otherwise, great accomodation.

The place has it all: a parking spot, location close to Faial and the airport, two bedrooms, spacious kitchen and even a place outside to have a grill. The best of it though is the host. She is very sweet, caring and she stays in touch with you throughout the stay so you feel taken care of.

The view is amazing. Wonderful breakfast. The cottage is super nice and the bed is very comfortable. It is a bit isolated but Faial is a small island. Restaurants, hiking trails, and other activities are close by. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks again for three lovely days :)

I don't usually post reviews, but for this place, I'm making an exception. We stayed here for two days, and the rooms were charming, authentic, and clean. From our room, we had a beautiful view of the port of Horta. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with a guide and recommending excellent restaurants. During our stay, we decided to do a 20 km hike. Elena advised us to message her if we needed a taxi back to the hotel afterward. As we reached the top of the mountain, it started getting dark, cold and misty and visibility became so poor that we could hardly see anything. I sent her a message around 9pm, and she was extremely helpful and kind. She immediately arranged a taxi for us. The taxi driver arrived, but due to the challenging road and weather conditions, we had difficulty locating him. He patiently waited for nearly an hour, trying to reach us despite the poor connection. Meanwhile, Elena was also doing everything she could to help us navigate the situation. Both of them were incredibly patient and supportive, and I'm deeply grateful for that. Eventually, we found the taxi and made it back safely. Special mention to Paulo, our taxi driver, who deserves recognition for his patience and kindness. If you ever need a taxi in Horta, Elena will gladly arrange for him to assist you.
