Absolutely surreal! Walking into this place honestly felt like entering another world, every step there was something new to look at in total awe. The garden walkways, the animals, the pool, the ocean view, the hobbit bar!! The attention to detail feels like that of a $1000 per night stay and is exactly the kind of tranquility I was hoping to find on Madeira. First thing to say is how fantastic our hosts were - providing lots of information and support before and during they visit. They simply could not have been more helpful. The apartment is of a generous size with wrap around balcony looking down onto Calheta Bay and up to the mountains. Three big double bedrooms (one en-suite) that were very comfortable. Well equipped and nothing lacking. There are two parking options - one is in a small car park opposite and one is in dedicated parking facility a few minutes walk away. Having hired a larger car I used the latter.
