An amazing location with walks and the most beautiful views on the doorstop. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Worked really hard to vary our meals and accommodate my mostly gluten-free needs (I can only have a little every day). We stayed Monday - Friday and loved it. Never got the car out. It’s busy in the day but you know this when you book it. We had one night where it was just us in the cottage and so we were on the mountain on our own for the night - so quiet! Comfy bed, great shower.

First thing to say is how fantastic our hosts were - providing lots of information and support before and during they visit. They simply could not have been more helpful.
The apartment is of a generous size with wrap around balcony looking down onto Calheta Bay and up to the mountains. Three big double bedrooms (one en-suite) that were very comfortable. Well equipped and nothing lacking. There are two parking options - one is in a small car park opposite and one is in dedicated parking facility a few minutes walk away. Having hired a larger car I used the latter.

This renovated villa was a dream and the perfect getaway we were hoping for during our stay in Madeira. The views were sensational and we loved the privacy, taking full advantage of the outside barbecue to grill and prepare our own meals. We opted to have the pool heated, which was an excellent decision, as we were able to make use of it during our stay, even on chillier days.

Property with beautiful views over the ocean and sunsets. You get the whole villa with outdoor swimming pool (which we didn't use) for you. The villa is spacious. There is a big eating room with large window overlooking ocean. You have also kitchen, livingroom and three bedrooms (everyone has its own bathroom). The host is very helpful and is responding fast if you need something.
It’s a perfect place to stay, stunning view! We had everything we needed here and even more - everything in the kitchen, some supplies (like sugar-salt etc). It was very comfortable!
The villa has 3 floors, the second one (living room) has a perfect view from different sides - we loved spending time there!
