It’s really super charming place to stay. It’s a house with a soul, with nice interior and amazing backyard. There were so many vintage items in the house, like a small museum to stay in :) It has all the equipment needed to cook and grill. And it was nice to stay outside and enjoy the view to the ocean.
The island is small and this place is easy to reach. So leave your doubts that is far from Ponta Delgada ;)

The Quinta is in an ideal location for exploring the island of Sao Miguel. Although directly on the main road the gated community feels like a haven in the countryside. The bungalows are well designed, spacious and offer privacy. It was a lovely spot to 'come home' to after a day exploring the island, especially the greeting from the little dog each evening. We received a warm welcome from our host on arrival and good communication before our stay.

We were here for ten days and we really enjoyed it! Rodolfo gave us a very warm welcome. He was always open to all questions. Maria is the good soul of the house. She prepared breakfast with a lot of love. Rodolfo specially bought vegan products, which is not a given here in the Azores. The hotel garden is beautiful. You can relax by the swimming pool. Everything was very clean. The hotel has enough parking spaces. The very nice beach bar, where you can also eat, and the highly recommended restaurant Fim do Seculo are within walking distance. The town of Maia is very pretty and conveniently located for all kinds of excursions.

We loved our stay here, the view on the jungle, the atmosphere of the village, the little swimming pool by the beach. The house is very nice, well equipped and the terrace is beautiful. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!
Tastefully furnished apartment on the ground floor sleeping on the 1st floor.

The apartment was clean, plenty of towels, kitchen fully equipped, above standard = olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. + a nice gift in the form of chilled water in the fridge and a can of beer.
Parking in front of the house is fine.

This place was really a nice get away place in a tiny village surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed the view for the morning tea every day and there was a lovely hike to a waterfall nearby.
The host was really helpful when we had a problem
The owner and her mom have clearly put a lot of time and effort into transforming an old building into nice accomodation. The wall paintings are particularly notable. The room was large with good views. The property is right on the village's main street, within walking distance to the ocean and hiking trails. The owner was nice. There is a large shared balcony and walled garden at the back of the property. Faial da Terra was my favourite place on the island.
Faial da Terra (the village) was a bit remote, but beautiful with great hike, public pool, supermarket and a few snack bars. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable.
The location is idyllic on the start of a walking route, next to a stream, the village is quite. The house has been restored with quality build and fittings and the kitchen has all you need to dine at home. Out door seating area to sit outside and enjoy nature. Lovely view from the house down the valley towards the sea.
