The location, the amazing view, the host was warm, interesting and very pleasant to have time to speak with. The place offer the possibility to meet people in a great ambience and also to hang out quietly in the vineyard. We really appreciated the place.

Lovely Quinta in a lovely position on the outskirts of Pinhao. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were really nice and also very clean.

Absolutely wonderful! Staying here was the highlight of our holiday. The house was amazing with outstanding views over the river Douro. A gorgeous garden and swimming pool and wonderful staff who made the holiday extra special.

This is a remarkable place to stay. The bedrooms and the communal areas are decorated beautifully in a blend of traditional Portuguese and stylish pared-back minimal. Everything here is about relaxing, getting away from the buzz of the modern world and taking time to refresh. Dinners are excellent, and as you sit at a communal table, you really get a chance to stop and meet other travellers, which is a wonderful part of the experience. (you can sit separately if you wish, of course!). The rooms do not have a TV - superb - and you go back to the main kitchen for tea, coffee and cake whenever you want it. Outside the views across the vineyards to the valley are just sensational, so peaceful. The team at the Quinta are all helpful, friendly and really welcoming, you couldn't ask for more. And finally I must mention the visit to the winery, which is really interesting to see - and taste!

An excellent host who left our breakfast in a picnic basket each morning. A great location just off the main street near the rail station. It's a great base for touring. A lovely pool on a terrace with a wonderful view.
Excellent breakfast with bread straight from the local bakery. The restaurant "Toca de Raposa" in the village is outstanding. Great wines from the estate too.
Beautifully located hotel overlooking Douro valley. Great restaurant and lovely pool area. 20 mins away is cute village of Pinhao where you can get boat along the river.
Lovely accomodation - Rooms 21 + 20: 2 together in a separate building, perfect for a family or 2 couples.
