A very stylish and modernly decorated room in a beautiful house in Coimbra. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom very clean and overlooking a little garden. Comfortable bed. AC in bedroom. There is also a shared kitchen which is a nice addition to anyone staying here. We had a very smooth check in and the hosts sent us all the necessary info.

Top location as it was not only up near the university and the life of the hilltop part but also boasted beautiful views across the river and even had a big balcony to sit comfortably in the early evening.
Carlos our host is the best ever offering to pick us up from bus station and two days later taking us to the train station and he also came straight up to help when I couldn’t work the washing machine !

We had spacious room, very functional and with a balcony. The pool is great and there is a lot of space inside the villa. We liked the breakfast and the stuff was kind and friendly.
Lovely, relaxed stay, if you want to enjoy the flair of a beautiful town villa with character features in short walking distance, 15 to 20 minutes, to the busy centre of Coimbra. I always had chosen the route through the magnificent Botanical Garden, inspiring and refreshing.
the Villa is newly renovated. It is beautifully done with lovely gardens. Some of the fruit on our huge breakfast buffet was picked from the garden that morning. The breakfast was amazing! The owners are lovely and very helpful with local suggestions.
We loved the house. It's located in a very quiet village about 25 minutes from Coimbra and close to the fabulous Roman ruins at Conimbraga. There are other excellent day trips in the area and all the roads are excellent. The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was chilly weather during our stay but the fireplace made it so warm snd cozy. Carla is very helpful - we all managed with Google translate! This is a wonderful stay.

Don't be fooled by the unattractive approach to Oryza. Once you step through the gate you find yourself in a beautifully restored period villa which blends the old with modern amenities in a very stylish and individual way. We felt very comfortable and the host couldn't be more polite and helpful.We didn't find it difficult to explore Coimbra but it's slightly out of town.
We loved the location in a small village near the city of Coimbra. We arrived by car, but used the bus (busstop within 100 meters), to travel to and from the centre of Coimbra. The nice housowner had supplied lots of food and drinks to keep us happy. A very good example of Portuguese hospitality.
