Lovely Quinta in a lovely position on the outskirts of Pinhao. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were really nice and also very clean.

Absolutely wonderful! Staying here was the highlight of our holiday. The house was amazing with outstanding views over the river Douro. Very scenic and romantic stay in the Douro region. Quite attentive and helpfull staff. Rooms were quite big and beautifull. The Quinta had some very nice wines and the catered food was delicious.

This is a remarkable place to stay. The bedrooms and the communal areas are decorated beautifully in a blend of traditional Portuguese and stylish pared-back minimal. Everything here is about relaxing, getting away from the buzz of the modern world and taking time to refresh. Dinners are excellent, and as you sit at a communal table, you really get a chance to stop and meet other travellers, which is a wonderful part of the experience. (you can sit separately if you wish, of course!). The rooms do not have a TV - superb - and you go back to the main kitchen for tea, coffee and cake whenever you want it. Outside the views across the vineyards to the valley are just sensational, so peaceful. The team at the Quinta are all helpful, friendly and really welcoming, you couldn't ask for more. And finally I must mention the visit to the winery, which is really interesting to see - and taste!
