Not having visiting Cabanas for a few years we noted that the town has grown and developed quite a bit. More choice for eating out, but definitely busier as well. O Pomar is located a little outside the town, but within easy walking distance, with a few shortcuts available. The complex itself is really nice, bar and restaurant on site are both excellent, and the fitness centre is small but well equipped. The pool is very nice, but as the complex got busier, getting a lounger was not always easy. But the staff and other guests were great and it was fairly managed.
Casa Joana itself was excellent. More than enough space for our family of 5, balconies off each bedroom, each room ensuite, with a terrace to the rear - the kids did not want to leave. The accommodation was perfect - quiet and clean and excellent value. The team managing the accommodation were great to deal with. Highly recommended.

3rd stay at this villa. Love that no fighting for lounger, quite and central to everything. Large Spar two minute walk away with fresh bakery and meats.
The 3 villas were close together. There was plenty of space around each villa for children to play games.
It is close to the shops in Cabanas and to the beach. The pool was large and clean and the bar area had very friendly waiting staff.
Tennis and volleyball were very much enjoyed.

The village is nice, the apartment is near the beach with charmant wooden promenade. When you cross the narrow bay on a boat you get to the ocean. There are beautiful dunes around. In an hour walking time you get to Tavira. The apartment itself has a sunny balcony and all necessary things including sun umbrellas. On our request additional bedding was promptly provided. We enjoyed the stay.
Room equipped with a water kettle, toaster and mini-kitchen with cutterly. Room with balcony and black-out curtains. Boat to other side-beach included. Swimming pools and other facilities available, but only open from 10 am off season.
Part of a nice small village. Environment with plenty of nature and wide beaches.
This is the second time I have stayed, and the works they have done in the house earlier this year have only improved the quality of the space.

Cabanas da Tavira is a beautiful village close to the beach. The flat is very comfortable, the swimming pool gives a great opportunity if you want to cool down or you are tired to go to the ocean. It's perfect for family vacation as well.
