This is our fourth visit to this well located quinta and, having booked late, could not get the full week we would have liked. Thank you Damiao and Luisa for your wonderful hospitality and breakfast, and we hope next time to book well enough in advance and come for a full week.

This is a remarkable place to stay. The bedrooms and the communal areas are decorated beautifully in a blend of traditional Portuguese and stylish pared-back minimal. Everything here is about relaxing, getting away from the buzz of the modern world and taking time to refresh. Dinners are excellent, and as you sit at a communal table, you really get a chance to stop and meet other travellers, which is a wonderful part of the experience. (you can sit separately if you wish, of course!). The rooms do not have a TV - superb - and you go back to the main kitchen for tea, coffee and cake whenever you want it. Outside the views across the vineyards to the valley are just sensational, so peaceful. The team at the Quinta are all helpful, friendly and really welcoming, you couldn't ask for more. And finally I must mention the visit to the winery, which is really interesting to see - and taste!

The place is absolutely wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer than just one night to enjoy better que quietness in the pool. We had a small wine tasting and we were very well received for the amazing staff, all very kind. The views are to die for, the wine is delicious and it was the best breakfast in our whole trip by far. They totally got my heart.

We stayed in one of the Mountain View rooms and we really enjoyed it. A separate cabin from the main house, with beautiful views and the added benefit of being able to relax on your own terrace.

A wonderful house 15 kmtrs away from Pinhão in a small mountain village. My plan was staying for 2 nights, but I enjoyed 4 ... wonderful it was and always best communication with the owner. Next time will come
Excellent position in a lovely renovated village 10 minutes from the River Douro. The extra touches provided by the owner were very thought out. Easy parking. Two good restaurants in the next village provided by the owner. Also an Olympic swimming pool in the next village. There must be money in the town!!!
the location of the house was perfect if you want to visit the Douro valley. the house is also located in a nice little village and it’s possible to do some wine tasting in the area as well
Excellent accomodation in a beautiful village with very friendly owner. The wine tasting in a family owned winery nearby was a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Highly recommended!
